How to: Restore a legend in an Excel chart.
Solution:
Select the chart and select 'Legend' from the 'Insert' menu.
1) Select the chart for which to restore a legend:
a) If the chart is embedded on the worksheet, double-click on the chart.
b) If the chart is on a separatechart sheet, click the tab for the chart sheet.
2) Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'Legend'. (Excel re-inserts the legend on the chart.)
